Exquisite, classic French pastries hand-baked with care by our experienced chef
Chef Romain Bouillot has more than 20 years’ experience as a culinary chef in Paris. Growing up in various French regions including Brittany, Alsace, Paris and the South of France, Romain developed his endless love for the kitchen from a young age. After studying at the prestigious Ferrandi culinary school in Paris, he threw his passion, knowledge and expertise into baking fine pastry. He worked for various well-loved French restaurants and invested time passing his skills to others as a cookery instructor. Romain’s culinary journey deepened further when he moved to Italy with his family in 2015. In Rome, Romain launched his first catering business specialising in classic French pastry. He continues to share his love for exceptional gateau in London, where he created Patisserie Chérie. Patisserie Chérie was established in 2020 in Camden, North London. It is a traditional patisserie that upholds this culinary art’s spirit of savoir faire, fantasy and flair. Generosity, pleasure and authenticity are our core philosophies. We are here to share them with you and bring them to your table.

Chef Romain has been cooking and baking for 26 years. He studied at the prestigious Ferrandi Culinary School and forged his career within restaurants, catering and as a highly regarded cooking instructor. His expertise has taken him around the world including Paris, the south of France, Argentina, Italy and now, England.
